“LADY CARLA” is an 80’ Custom Raised Pilothouse Long Range Steel Cruiser completed in 2003 by Australian craftsman to a stunning level with further upgrades and inclusions completed in 2017. Designed by John Lund and Paul Stanyon she is a raised pilothouse design with hard chine and plenty of room throughout.
She consists of four spacious staterooms with elegant interior, timber décor bathrooms, a saloon upholstered in leather and highlighted with brass fittings in federation style.
The boarding area aft provides two sets of sweeping stairs with a swim platform along with the outdoor areas. “LADY CARLA” is geared for formal dining or for just lounging around outdoors in her spacious aft cockpit or in her well laid out flybridge area. Powered with a single 379HP MAN 2866 LXC 40 turbo shaft drive diesel gives you a cruise speed of 8.0 knots and when required a maximum speed of 9.5 knots plus she comes equipped with dual 27 KVA Onan generators fitted new in 2017, Naiad Multisea II 302 electric stabilisers, fixed hull steel stabilisers, Micro Commander electronic controls and Sleipner 12” 45HP hydraulic bow and stern thrusters for ease of manoeuvring so she is equipped to go anywhere.
A 120HP Lugger LP445T is installed to run the hydraulics for the anchor, thrusters plus davit and can also be used as a get home engine.
Built to USL code and registered as an AMSA Australian Ship along with being in AMSA Certificate of Operation 2B for a maximum of 12 persons makes her the ideal vessel to be a mothership particularly with her refuelling capabilities and great accommodation.
Cruising at 8.0 knots including the generator uses only 33 litres per hour giving you a cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles.
